Inviting Seminar Speakers
If you would like to suggest a speaker for upcoming
semesters, please email the graduate
student seminar coordinator with the name, affiliation, and webpage
(if available) of the potential speaker. In addition, please indicate
if this person will be on campus for another reason (e.g. graduate committee
member meeting, or attending another event in Columbia) or if there is
a potential cosponsor. To ensure a diversity of speakers compose the limited
number of seminars each semester, the seminar committee will meet bi-annually
to decide the order in which invitations will be issued.
Other seminar series of interest at MU
Many other departments on campus (e.g. Forestry, Fisheries and Wildlife) have seminar series that may be of interest to
the conservation-minded. Please see the link to their calendars below. If you know of other seminars that would be relevant to add to the list,
please contact the ConsBio webmaster.
